Hi. Welcome to my site. I play mostly guitar but my main interest is in composing and arranging, especially for big band.. A long time ago, my Plan A was to become a rock star! Somehow that didn't pan out so I went to Plan B, except that there was no Plan B. So I went back to school and became an engineer. But I never stopped playing and I studied composition off and on.
One evening about a decade back, I went to hear my cousin Ron Zack play at a Chinese restaurant in Malden, MA. One of the guys in the band played trumpet and flute, which seemed unusual to me (apparently it's not that unusual), so I started talking to Jerry Seeco in between sets and found out that he taught composition at Berklee College of Music.
Soon I started private lessons with Jerry, who was very encouraging, and I've been studying with him ever since.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

This is my first CD, but it's really an EP. This was an experiment to see what's involved in producing a CD. Some of these tunes I composed as far back as the ‘80s, but I’ve only arranged them for big band in the last 10 years. Of the five tunes, I think I See You is the only one I've composed in recent times, though I have many newer tunes that I hope to record soon. Anyway I hope you enjoy the music.
